Mashed potatoes are a necessity in classic holiday meals such as roast, turkey or ham. It is a great versatile dish to serve with your meat. With this recipe, you won’t believe how amazing mashed potatoes can be! You will forever want to cook them sous-vide. With the help of your Mellow, mashed potatoes will always come out perfectly cooked, extra creamy and over-the-top flavorful!

Ingredients

4 Cups Fingerling Potatoes
1 ½ Cups Water
1 tbsp Salt
1 ½ Cup Unsalted Butter
4 tbsp Chives

Roughly dice the potatoes into large pieces with the skin on. Put into a Mellow bag with the water and salt and place in your Mellow.

Using the Mellow App, select Vegetables > Potatoes and cook to Fork Tender doneness.

Once they have finished cooking, discard the water and transfer to a bowl. Let the steam evaporate for a minute.

Mash the potatoes, adding the butter a bit at a time, mixing well.

Thinly chop the chives and fold into the mashed potatoes.
